Pay: $15.50 - $16.00; We are a local dog walking and pet sitting company hiring for our weekend dog walker/pet sitter positions. Hours are 2:00pmto 8:00pm, every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday the weekends working, following weekend off). The position is 8 to 12 hours per working weekend. Ideal candidates will be reliable, trustworthy, outdoorsy, and experienced with both dogs and cats. You must be able to start ASAP/shortly.
Walk a variety of dog breeds and sizes and visit and care for cats and dogs between the hours of 2pm and 8pm, Saturday and Sunday in all weather. You need to follow client and company specified instructions on pet care/walking routines.
Self motivated and comfortable working independently; Consistent access to a vehicle and ability to transport animals; Ownership of a smart phone with data plan and daily access to a computer/email/internet; Excellent attention to detail and time management skills as you will be traveling between multiple client locations; Patience, as you will be working with a variety of pet temperaments and a wide range of clients; Ability to recognize animal body language.
